HOURSAGO

Gets the number of hours between the specified date and now.

Syntax

=HOURSAGO(date)

Arguments

Examples

The following examples assume the current date is January 2, 2020 at 12:00pm

=HOURSAGO("2019-01-01")8803
Gets the number of hours from midnight January 1, 2019 to January 2, 2020 at 12:00pm

=HOURSAGO("2020-01-01")43
Gets the number of hours from midnight January 1, 2020 to January 2, 2020 at 12:00pm

=HOURSAGO("2020-01-03")-5
Gets the number of hours from midnight January 3, 2020 to January 2, 2020 at 12:00pm
